Ceiling skylights

Ceiling skylight constitutes one of the most interesting application of stained-glasses. Ceiling skylights are not only additional sources of light but excellent decorations of ceiling. It is obvious that the appropriate lighting constitutes integral and very important element of any interior. Ceiling stained-glass provides a lot of opportunities  to influence on the interior color, causing at the same time the impression of optical “lightness” of ceiling.

Ceiling skylights can be installed as specific daylight filters  or they can be illuminated by artificial light. It is worthy to underline that installation of stained-glass in the ceiling is more complicated than installation of stained-glass in other places and if you wish one you need to think about it at a very early stage of construction works at your house. Installation of a ceiling skylight usually requires in advance preparation of special supporting  structure.
