Painting
Painted stained-glasses constitute a very special, one can say, “the most noble” type of them.
Making painted stained-glass lies in detailed painting of all elements of stained-glass with very special glazy paints which are later on fixed by melting in a high temperature. Very often, painting one element requires to put several layers of paint, and at the same time each of them must be kilned (burnt) separately (it is a very time-consuming process). Elements prepared this way are connected together by application of traditional stained-glass technologies, it means by Tiffany tape or lead.
